Following the Government announcement, please note that our school is now closed to all pupils except vulnerable pupils and children of Key Workers. All parents/carers have been sent an email with details on how you can access our Key Worker care.
At Martin High School, we have a clear set of beliefs that drive our school. All of our learners work together to develop relationships and create a safe space for learning, where everybody is valued. The great strength of our school is in the quality of relationships and the care that we have for one another. We believe in promoting a broad and balanced curriculum which allows our learners to excel, both academically and holistically. Everyone tries hard to understand a prouder way of learning. With the right attitudes, skills, knowledge and capabilities in a supportive community, our pupils are not only ready for the outside world, but also develop a life-long love of learning.
Every young person is a valued individual and we want to create a platform for them to go beyond their expectations; parents will know they can feel safe in the knowledge that their child will be encouraged to be everything they want to be.
"At the school, all the teachers are friendly and the subjects we do are interesting, fun and insightful. Feedback is also given regularly so we know what we’re doing well and what we need to improve on."

"I stayed at MHS for my GCSE’s because I knew I’d be supported by my teachers and encouraged to push myself. The teachers and learners here have formed a warm and welcoming community and a positive learning environment."

The great strength of our school is the quality of relationships and the care that staff have for pupils and pupils have for one another. No one individual is more important than anybody else. Everyone tries hard to understand and work both for themselves and for others.
