AT OUR SCHOOL... we believe with A PROUDER WAY learners can achieve anything. Through promoting the values expressed here our young people not only succeed academically but also socially, spiritually and culturally.
Martin High has a strong community ethos where each learner is part of a caring school community. What this means is that learners are able to access layers of support for both their academic and pastoral needs. We recognise that starting a new school can be both exciting and a little daunting but our transition programme ensures that learners feel confident in their school environment at the start of the academic year.

The new development has provided a significant upgrade to Martin High School’s existing sports facilities, benefiting learners and the wider community.
July 11, 2022
Excitement was building on 7th July 2022 at Martin High School as students, staff, and members of the community gathered for the official opening of the ultramodern sports hall. Former student and former Tigers back-row, Taylor Gough, kicked off the evening proudly cutting the ribbon alongside Leicestershire County Cricket Club players, Scott Steel and Ben Mike.
The huge 1,120sq metre facility took 9 months to build and comprises a multipurpose four court badminton centre, gym facility, performance studio, classroom and computer suite, all providing an exciting environment for learners.
Opening the sports hall, Laura Sanchez, Executive Principal of Martin High School, said:
“The sports hall will be transformational, not only for the learners at Martin High School, but also for the whole community. It’s thanks to colleagues in the Lionheart Educational Trust that we’ve been able to open this incredible facility and can’t wait to see it bustling with sporting activity.”
During the official opening, guests enjoyed a tour of the sports hall while watching Martin High learners play cricket with professional players, Scott Steel and Ben Mike, from Leicestershire County Cricket Club.
