As part of Lionheart Venues, we are part of a group of contemporary multi-use facilities available for hire throughout Leicestershire. The Lionheart Academies Trust schools have successfully hosted many memorable occasions, events and activities over the years.

We were thrilled to open our brand new sports hall. This new development has provided a significant upgrade to our existing sports facilities, benefiting learners and the wider community.

Martin High hosts wonderful Christmas fair

We warmly welcomed approximately 400 visitors – including parents, carers, students, community members and even pupils from local primary schools – who enjoyed sampling a variety of Christmas-themed activities. There was a kids’ crafts stall, a tombola, teddy tombola, henna art and live music. Upon arrival, Peter – who was elected as the Conservative MP for Mid Leicestershire in the recent General Election – was taken on a tour of our new Sports Hall by Executive Principal Mrs Sanchez; he was also able to watch our Girls Futsal team play a match in the same facility. Year 7s soar and splash on Outdoor Pursuits adventure

Split into two groups, the 150-strong cohort visited the centre on two separate days and were able to take part in two exciting activities. First up was climbing. After receiving a demonstration from the instructors, learners soared up the 40ft climbing wall, with many reaching the very top.
