GCSE Results Day 2024

It has been another summer of success for Year 11 pupils at Martin High School, who celebrated their GCSE results.

Among them was Amy who, thanks to her perseverance and determination, achieved six grade 9s, a level 2 Distinction * and four grade 8s.  She is looking forward to continuing her educational journey at QE college to study Maths, Chemistry and Biology.

Maja, Chloe, Sky, Grace and Jonah also achieved a stunning collection of results – acquiring an incredible 46 grades at 7, 8 and 9 between them.

Furthermore, across the year – and the 25 different courses offered at Martin High – 102 of our pupils achieved at least one grade 8 or 9. This is a testament not only to our pupils - who worked autonomously to achieve these results – but also to the staff who supported them every step of the way.

Our pupils have shown incredible resilience and demonstrated that with hard work and determination you can be successful.

While we’re celebrating the young people who have achieved outstanding results, we’re also recognising the pupils who have defied incredible odds to gain passes in subjects that mean the most to them.

Today we celebrate our wonderful pupils and their families, all of whom have participated in creating the positive learning culture we promote throughout Lionheart Trust. The support from parents plays a vital role in this partnership, helping us achieve the best outcomes for our young people.
