AT OUR SCHOOL... we believe with A PROUDER WAY learners can achieve anything. Through promoting the values expressed here our young people not only succeed academically but also socially, spiritually and culturally.
Martin High has a strong community ethos where each learner is part of a caring school community. What this means is that learners are able to access layers of support for both their academic and pastoral needs. We recognise that starting a new school can be both exciting and a little daunting but our transition programme ensures that learners feel confident in their school environment at the start of the academic year.
We pride ourselves in knowing every individual; which helps to ensure that everyone is successful and happy during their time at MHS. Central to our beliefs as a school, every learner has the right to good quality teaching; an aspirational environment, educational opportunities and a close knit school community here a sense of ‘real’ belonging leads to everyone achieving. Here at MHS we want your five years with us to be challenging, exciting and filled with achievement. We look forward to meeting you all and welcoming you into our school.
We are constantly looking to review and improve our parent-teacher communication and collaboration at the Martin High School. We truly believe that we can make the difference to your child’s progress by working closely together with you as a parent or carer.
At the Martin High School we try to keep parents, pupils and anyone interested in the school well informed. We hope you find everything you need.
We are an 11-16 Academy, offering an exciting and inspiring curriculum to all our learners. Due to the current situation, we thought it appropriate to take a blended approach to our Open Evening. Although we WILL be hosting an Open Evening on site, this will be limited to adhere to government guidelines. Furthermore, information specific to our school will be provided online as part of our ‘Online Experience’.
To secure your place at our Open Evening, you must now book on to a time specific slot. You will be grouped in small numbers, and shown around the Martin High site. This site tour will be limited in terms of the areas that we can show you. However, you will get to meet some key members of staff and learn about our school. Please note, we can only host one adult and one child per household. You must wear a face covering, unless you suffer from a medical condition which means you cannot.
If you have accessibility requirements, please state upon booking. We want to ensure that everyone can access our Open Evening.
You can only attend on Monday 28th September if you have booked a ticket using the button below.
To respond to the limitations of our Open Evening, we’ve prepared a range of exciting information that you can access from the comfort of your own home.
