GDPR

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

From 25th May 2018, GDPR comes into effect for all organisations in the UK. At Martin High School we have updated our documentation and policies to ensure that we are GDPR compliant. The documents and policies that we are adopting come from the Lionheart Academies Trust and apply to all schools within that trust. As we are moving towards joining that trust, we are adopting those policies now to ensure consistency.

Privacy Notices

Below are the privacy notices for Martin High School. Paper copies of these are available from the front office if you require one.

Policies

The policies below have been put in place in order to meet the new GDPR requirements.

Acceptable Use Policies

All learners and staff need to sign these documents regarding the acceptable use of IT and aspects that relate to personal data.

Learners have been able to read and sign this in school and will need to in order to continue using the schools IT services.

Subject Access Request (SAR)

Under GDPR you have the right to a SAR. Below are the details of how to perform this and the required documentation. Paper copies of the SAR can be made available upon request.

Further documentation and details will be added to this section of the website regarding GDPR.
